Penha Building

One of the oldest and most known buildings in Willemstad Punda is the Penha Building. It was constructed in 1708 and functioned as a former trading house. Since 1997, the building has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the Old Town.
Penha company itself dates to 1865 and is a department store on the Handelskade that is specialized in perfumes, cosmetics, skin care and eyewear. It is centrally located on the Handelskade and well worth a visit.
